I Description
This instrument is special for measuring distance between transformer and fault point, when there is permanent earthing (short-circuit) or open-circuit in overhead transmission line.
It is suitable for those overhead transmission lines more than 10kV. Test will be done in the transformer substation. It can test out fault distance accurately so that serviceman can find the fault point very quickly.
It can only be used after line power off.
II Main features
